Our flagship course is not just educational; it’s a hands-on, enjoyable experience. In a single full-day session (lasting 8.5 hours), you’ll have ample time to practice with mannikins and participate in real-life scenarios to boost your confidence and skills. This course adds the additional unit standard of 6400, Management of first aid in an emergency situation, which is required for workplace first aiders. Completing the Resource Pack beforehand can earn you NZQA unit standards 6400, 6401, and 6402, which are all the basic skills required in an emergency First Aid situation likely to be encountered in an environment with hazards or risks.
This course is ideal for people who are new to First Aid and working in a low-hazard environment or for those who have previously completed First Aid Training within the last two years and need to revalidate it. Even if your staff completed their original training somewhere else, we can provide the revalidation for you. This course can be run as part of a full day New Zealand First Aid Certificate, making it ideal for workplaces that have staff needing the full training mixed with those that only need revalidation. By completing the Resource Pack beforehand can earn you NZQA unit standards 6401 and 6402.
